Grooming

Quick Cleaning and Disinfecting:
• Mix equal parts water and alcohol in a spray bottle.
• Spray the solution inside and outside the suit (head, hands, body, etc.).
• You can also use an aerosol disinfectant (e.g., Lysoform).
• Brush and air dry in a ventilated area.
• Store in an enclosed space.
Storage
• Minipartials and partials: Store in a plastic container, bag, backpack, or suitcase.
• Fullbody suits, armsleeves, and long tails: Hang from a perch to prevent wrinkles.
• Store in an enclosed space with moderate temperature and humidity.

Washing
• Machine-washable items: handpaws, armsleeves, tails, indoor feetpaws, bodysuits, padding.
• Use a neutral liquid laundry detergent. Avoid washing powder and detergents that leave residue.
• Do not use laundry whiteners. Use a prewash stain remover for white parts or stains.
• Add a small amount of fabric softener if fur is rough.
• Do not iron or wash with hot water.
• Wet fur is heavy; check washer weight specifications before washing.
• Brush the entire suit in the direction of the fur after washing and hang to dry.
